14 August 2005 A Little Trip With Jeanette
It was a nice sunday afternoon, and I decided to take Jeanette out for a little trip.
We drove down to Eccoland Park and I took a couple of pictures.
We drove off without incident and headed down the canel.
We had a pleasant little run for about a hour then went back. I had bought a fancy boat hook at a boat show I had gone to the day before. It was a pump, a boat hook, and a pressure washer for the boat. When I extended it to catch the wharf I didn't set it properly and it came apart. Part of it fell into the water and I had to go swimming for it off of the wharf. Someone who watched this told me you had to have a sense of humor in a situation like this. I guess he was right.
